Here’s the second video Dano Johnson and I created for the Filmmakers for Bill White initiative. It stars John Merriman and Emily Kaye.

Embedded above is the first video I created for Texas Gubernatorial candidate Bill White as part of the Filmmakers for Bill White initiative. In this spot current Texas Governor Rick Perry is played by actor/filmmaker John Merriman.

Dano Johnson and I recently completed two ads for Democratic Texas Gubernatorial candidate Bill White and I’m currently finishing the first episode of the American Widow Project web-series. I’ve  just started work on a PSA for Voices of a Grateful Nation, a music video for Michael Des Barres (above), and editing on Charles Wiedman’s The Sinner.

Collection Agency Films’ The Bright Knight just took home a Gold Pollie Award for Best Web Video. The spot was written by Dano Johnson and myself from a concept by Bill Hillsman, it was produced by Collection Agency Films and Northwoods Advertising. A screen grab from Collection Agency Film’s ad for Charles Wheelan (which was written by Dano Johnson and myself, from an idea by Bill Hillsman) was recently used as the photo for the Huffington Post’s story on “The Craziest Political Campaign Ads from Across America,” which we take as a compliment. You can watch the ad, along with some others (which I would argue might be crazier) at Collection Agency’s website.

Collection Agency Films was commissioned by the Secular Student Alliance to write and produce a funny and informative video about their organization… So here it is.

I just found out The Insur-Animals: Episode 1 won two Pollie Awards (which recognize “the best in political and public affairs communications”). The video took home a silver for “Best Use of Web Video” and a bronze for “Best Use of Humor.”

The final three episodes of Insur-Animals were finished in 2008 but only appeared online last week. Fortunately (sort of) the health care debate continues and these cartoon are still relevant.
