The music video for Jesse Dayton’s I’m Comin’ Home is now online. The song is available on the compilation album Voices of a Grateful Nation Vol. 1, sales of which benefit the Welcome Home Project and Soldiers’ Angels.  I directed and edited the video which incorporates footage from our award-winning documentary Year at Danger.

Film Threat has just released its list of “ indie films from the festival circuit that didn’t suck.” They included Year at Danger and said “Little can prepare you for Steve Metze’s uncensored, unexpurgated account of life on the ground at FOB “Danger” near Tikrit, Iraq. The American Widow Project will be making its world premiere at the Austin Film Festival in Austin, TX, Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 7PM and Thursday, October 23, 2008. In addition, I’ll be on two panels on Sunday; Niche Projects and Editors/Post-Production.
