Collection Agency Films presents Hayes Carll in Crystal Beach Memories. The film is directed and animated by Dano Johnson, produced by Troy Campbell, with illustrations by Jose Gonzales, and sound design/sound mixing by Eric Friend.
I was hired on as audio editor/story structurer to combine some of Hayes’ infamous stories about his days in Crystal Beach with some pre-recorded, scripted material.
The video is onYouTube and has already received a write up from The New Yorker Online. Hayes Carll’s new album, Trouble in Mind, is available now on Lost Highway Records.
Check out Episode 1 of The Insur-Animals, produced by Collection Agency Films and written by Dano Johnson and myself. And, visit healthcare4every1.org for more info about The Insur-Animals; Deductibear, Co-Pay Cobra, Denial Crocodile, and Premiums Porcupine.
The non-profit organization I’ve been working with, The American Widow Project, was recently featured on ABC News Now. Founder Taryn Davis discusses the organization and they show some footage from the documentary we’ve been working on. Watch the story at the ABC News Now Website.
