PICTURES OF SUPERHEROES

I’m currently directing a feature-length comedy called Pictures of Superheroes. It stars Kerri Lendo, Shannon McCormick, and John Merriman and is being produced by Tate English and Kelly Williams. The film’s already received some press from Bad Lit so hopefully it will be good. Once we wrap, Kelly and I will jump into production on Mark Potts and Cole Selix’s A Splice of Life, which you can also follow on Twitter.

GI’ ALDRIG OP

FINAL CUT PRO PRESENTATION TONIGHT

A FISTFUL OF PRESS

Here’s a quick round-up of the press some of my projects (an ad I wrote and directed and two features I edited) have picked up in the past month:

      The NBC affiliate in DFW ran a

“Spin Check”

      on our Bill White ad

Campaign Promises

      and found it to be (mostly) truthful- though I would debate the semantics on number 3. Regardless, Rick Perry won the election so I guess it doesn’t really matter…

Scott Meyers’ Ultimate Guide to Flight got a lot of attention before its premiere at the Austin Film Festival including mentions on TwitchFilm, MovieWeb, and ScreenCrave, and a positive review from The Austin Chronicle.

Mark Potts’ S&M Lawn Care was also at the Austin Film Festival and also received a lot of press including positive reviews from Moviefone, Gordon and the Whale, Smells Like Screen Spirit and even some nice words from the folks at Sweet Leaf Iced Tea.

BILL WHITE AD #1: CAMPAIGN PROMISES

ULTIMATE GUIDE TO FLIGHT TO PREMIERE AT AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL

Two feature films I edited are going to screen at this year’s Austin Film Festival. Scott Meyers’ all-improvised Ultimate Guide to Flight is going to have its world premiere and Mark Potts’ critically-acclaimed, award-winning S&M Lawn Care is playing in the Comedy Vanguard section. Meanwhile on the west coast, the video I directed for Captain Clegg & The Night Creatures’ Zombie a Go Go is playing the Sacramento Horror Film Festival.

FILM THREAT REVIEWS S&M LAWN CARE

A VIDEO FOR A FAULTY CHROMOSOME

Here’s a music video experimental film thing I directed produced made for one of my favorite bands, A Faulty Chromosome. It consists largely of Flip HD footage shot at the Toy & Action Figure Museum in Paul’s Valley, OK and it’s already gained some press on the Portuguese blog FLOGA-SE.
